Condition matters more than age alone. Some well-maintained vinyl liners last roughly 10–15 years, but chemistry, sunlight, installation, material and site conditions can shorten or extend service life. Severe fading, brittle vinyl, cracks, tears, recurring patches, bead that pulls from the track, or permanent wrinkles can signal that replacement should be evaluated.

Liner replacement & installation
